Triple Seven Recording

Location

We are located about 25 minutes from downtown Bakersfield in the rolling hills.  There is a peaceful atmosphere to the area and a relaxed vibe in the studio that is not available in many commercially run facilities.  Due to the distance from town, we do not have quick access to restaurants etc.  But we do have a fridge that is stocked with various beverages and a hospitality area with Kreuig coffee machines, microwave oven, toaster, etc.  Snacks are available at the studio at all times.  If you plan on booking the studio for a day of recording, lunch will be provided for you through one of the local restaurants.

The Live Room

We currently have a large 30' by 50' area we are using for tracking live.  There is a 7' by 8' isolation booth used for tracking acoustic instruments, amps, and vocals.  In the near future we will be re-modeling this area to provide a large drum room, another isolation room, and a large live room.  We will be providing an acoustically designed room with a twelve foot ceiling that will be comfortable and spacious.

The Control Room

The control room is an acoustically designed room that houses a phenomenal collection of recording gear.  We use a large collection of different preamps and mics to achieve the sound that best suits your style.  We then record directly from those preamps, compressors, and EQ's into our ProTools HD system through pristine Apogee A/D converters.

If you want to track keys in the control room using our selection of software there is room to do that.  We have actually had, electric guitar patched through to his amp in the isolation booth, acoustic guitar, bass, and scratch vocals all in the control room recording while the drums were in the live room.

We can accommodate whatever method of recording you would like.
